Dieses Bild zeigt eines der damals jährlich abgehaltenen Offizierstreffens der deutschen und österreichischen Bodenseegarnisonen im Jahre 1892 Seite an Seite liegend der österreichische Salondampfer "Kaiser Franz Josef I." und die württembergische "König Karl". Die Schiffe habe zu diesem Anlaß festlich geflaggt und sind mit Reisig geschmückt.Diese Treffen fanden bis 1914 abwechselnd in den Häfen Konstanz, Friedrichshafen, Lindau oder Bregenz statt.
